Maybe I Should Make This the Unofficial Jesse Orosco Should Be in the Hall of Fame Blog
I read another reference to Jesse Orosco that implies that he is the handy reference for reliever longevity ... or the handy reference for something anyway. Surely, that should count for something.
I'd say he belongs in the "Hall of guys who played a really long time but weren't quite good enough to be in the Hall of Fame." I think the facility is in Edinburgh, Ind., next to the outlet mall. I have never been to it, though.

I think I'll start playing a certain early 80s Carly Simon tune to make it even worse. :)

And, Orosco can't hold a candle to Satchel Paige for pitching for a really long time.
I know the place ... right across the street from Bob's used live bait stand.
